RANDOLPH – A 17-year-old student at the Randolph Academy is accused of assaulting another pupil at the school last week.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says William Delo Jr., who lives in Jamestown, physically assaulted his peer causing serious physical injuries last Monday morning.

The teen is charged with second-degree assault in the case.


He was, deputies say, arraigned and held in custody on a securing order.

The judge later placed bail at $5,000 and the juvenile was released after posting bond.
