31-Year-Old Accused Of Shooting Handgun In Dunkirk Neighborhood

DUNKIRK – A 31-year-old man is in police custody after allegedly shooting a handgun in Dunkirk on Friday evening.

City of Dunkirk Police accuse Erick Threatt of discharging a 9mm handgun in the 400 Block of Main Street around 5:30 p.m.

Police say Threatt was arrested following a short foot pursuit with responding patrol officers.











Threatt was arraigned and held on $20,000 Cash/$40,000 Property.

Dunkirk Police Department was assisted by the Fredonia Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
