ALBANY – New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is responding to a scathing report about sexual harassment allegations against him.

New York Attorney General Letitia James says an investigation found that Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women.

That included current and former state employees, as well as a number of women outside state government.

The report details harassment allegations by 11 women. Investigators found all 11 to be credible.

James said Cuomo’s conduct violated multiple federal and state laws.

Following the release of the report, Cuomo took to the airwaves to refute the allegations.

“I want you to know directly from me that I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” said Cuomo in a prepared video. “I do kiss people on the forehead. I do kiss people on the cheek. I do kiss people on the hand. I do embrace people. I do hug people, men and women.”

Cuomo also said his attorney has detailed a response to each individual allegation. He encouraged the public to read that report posted on his website.
