CLYMER (Erie News Now) – Peek’n Peak Resort is preparing to celebrate Fall Fest over the next two weekends.

“Unfortunately with the pandemic we had to take a year off but this is our 33rd year, it’s great family fun and we expect a ton of people,” Peek’n Peak owner Nick Scott Jr. said.

It features a local craft vendor marketplace, free children’s entertainment, food and drinks, live performances, a pumpkin cannon and more.

“People come in from all over the place, from one hundred miles away or more and enjoy time with the family,”  Scott said.

Fall Fest runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9; Sunday, Oct. 10; Saturday, Oct. 16; and Sunday, Oct. 17.

The Kids’ Zone will offer kid-friendly activities like horse-drawn carriage rides, free kids’ crafts, magic shows and wildlife shows. There will also be a rock wall, extreme air jumper, pony rides, train rides, a swinging pirate ship and more.

Fall Fest will also have a variety of food options, homestyle favorites, savory snacks, desserts, beer and wine. Peek’n Peak will host brunch at Bistro 210 on Oct. 10 starting at 11 a.m. Reservations are required.

The Greg Neid Memorial Car Show will be Sunday, Oct. 10. Registration for the show will starts that day at 9 a.m. and will include door prizes, a DJ, a 50/50 raffle and awards. It is being organized by the Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club.

There will also be more than 100 local craft vendors and an indoor farmer’s market to check out. Vendors range from local painters and candle makers to professional photographers and local ironsmiths.

Peek’n Peak is also inviting guests to enjoy its scenic chairlift rides, mini-golf, and the Peak’s Mountain Adventure activities, which include the Aerial Adventures Ropes Course, Giant Dual Ziplines and the Soaring Eagle Zipline.
