Mayor Sundquist To Outline 2022 Executive Budget Thursday

JAMESTOWN – Jamestown’s Mayor will be outlining his proposed 2022 executive budget on Thursday.

Mayor Eddie Sundquist is scheduled to detail his spending plan during a presentation at City Hall starting at 3 p.m.

Sundquist is expected to discuss how the $28 million the city received part of the American Rescue Plan will impact the municipality’s fiscal health.


His budget could also layout a plan to allocate more money to capital improvement projects and city owned equipment; like vehicles for the police department a topic discussed during Monday’s council meeting.
