HINDSALE – A Hinsdale man is facing charges related to the rape and sexual assault of a child, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott D. Vaughn, 36, was arrested without incident Thursday morning at his residence following an investigation by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Bureau.
Vaughn is charged with a count of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of second-degree rape, one count of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned in Cattaraugus County Court and held on bail in the county jail for further proceedings.
