City Councilwoman Appointed To New Role With Jamestown Public Schools

Jamestown City Councilwoman At-Large Tamu Graham- Reinhardt (D)

JAMESTOWN – A City Councilwoman has officially been appointed Student Support Service Coordinator with Jamestown Public Schools.

The district announced that Tamu Reinhardt actually started in the position in July. The district, however, did not announce the news until election day.

Reinhardt announced earlier this year that she wouldn’t be seeking another term in office.

In the new role she is responsible for helping students who are struggling to learn within the school environment.

Specifically, she will address inequities and helping to rollout equitable access to learning opportunities in school.

In addition to her service in government, Reinhardt was a development specialist with Erie 2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES, a Spanish teacher at Falconer Central Schools and an adjunct instructor at JCC.
