JAMESTOWN – The City of Jamestown is reminding residents to be careful and bundle up in light of the harsh temperatures this weekend.

They are warning everyone of extreme cold and bitter winds as temperatures drop into the negative digits on Friday and Saturday.

Specifically, local leaders are concerned about the homeless who might be outside for an extended period of time. Those who need housing can call 2-1-1 or visit 211wny.org.

As for everyone else, it is imperative that you cover all exposed skin and bundle up in layers. In just a short period of time, the bitter cold can cause frostbite damage to any exposed skin.
