Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Arrested For Child Pornography

GREENSBURG, Pa. (Erie News Now) – Pennsylvania State Police arrested a corporal on child pornography charges Tuesday.

Sean McKenzie faces the following felony charges, which were filed in a Westmoreland County district court:

  • 1 count of Sexual Abuse of Children / Photographing, Videotaping, Depicting on Computer or Filming Sexual Acts
  • 21 counts of Sexual Abuse of Children / Child Pornography
  • 10 counts of Sexual Abuse of Children / Dissemination of Photographs, Videotapes, Computer Depictions and Films
  • 2 counts of Criminal Use of Communication Facility

A magisterial district judge set McKenzie’s bail at $500,000. He is scheduled to appear in court for his preliminary hearing March 9 at 10 a.m.


McKenzie is assigned to Troop T, New Stanton. He has been suspended without pay while the case proceeds.

He enlisted in State Police in June 2008 and graduated as a member of the 127th cadet class.
