Gerry Man Charged After Allegedly Fleeing Sheriff Deputies In Vehicle

CHAUTAUQUA – A Gerry man is facing several charges after allegedly fleeing Sheriff Deputies in a vehicle following in the Town of Chautauqua this week.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Meadows Rd in the Town of Chautauqua for a reported suspicious person on Sunday evening.

As deputies attempted to stop the suspect vehicle it allegedly proceeded to flee. Deputies pursued the vehicle for a short time before the vehicle came to a stop on Coe Road in the Town of Stockton.











The operator was identified as 30-year-old Brandon Croce. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, aggravated unlicensed operation, reckless driving, speed in excess of 55MPH, fail to keep right, and move from lane unsafely.

Croce was processed and released with appearance tickets.
