JAMESTOWN – The second of a handful of community walks to gauge Jamestown resident’s concerns has been postponed due to weather.

Last month, the walking tours were scheduled as part of the Annual Action Plan, which aims to provide funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development to help address things like condemned properties.

The first event discussing Ward 1 took place on Saturday, March 26. That event was held at Jamestown City Hall, due to winter weather.

With a wet snow wintery mix in the forecast, the city is rescheduling Saturday’s event to a later date.

The next walk, featuring Ward 3, is schedule for Tuesday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at Jackson-Taylor Park.

In addition to the walks, an online survey is also posted to gauge public feedback.
