FORESTVILLE – A Forestville woman has been sentenced for allegedly scamming the elderly while working at a bank in Erie County, New York.

The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says that 37-year-old Breanna Rohauer was sentenced this week to 30 days in jail followed by five years of probation.

Prosecutors say Rohaue, while employed at a local bank in the Town of Hamburg, admitted to making numerous unauthorized withdrawals from the bank accounts of several elderly customers.

Officials explain she stole more than $100,000 through fraudulent transactions between November 2017 and February 2019.

Rohaue will be ordered to re-paid all off the stolen money to the bank, who has since reimbursed the victims.
