FRENCH CREEK – Straight line wind damage from a strong line of severe thunderstorms brought down trees and powerlines across parts of Chautauqua County on Monday evening.
Very impressive viewer images flooded our newsrooms, as max wind gusts up to 70 m.p.h. preluded heavy rains in places like French Creek where Teri Whitney captured an outflow caused by the storm.
