Angola Man Jailed Following Early Morning Burglary Monday

VILLENOVA – A 30-year-old Angola man is behind bars and facing charges in connection with an early morning burglary of a Town of Villenova residence.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported unwanted and disorderly person around 6 a.m. Monday on Ball Hill Road.

Following an investigation, it is alleged Matthew Kennedy entered the home by breaking in a door and started damaging windows, cabinets and other household items once inside.











Kennedy also allegedly attacked both the home owner’s by kicking and pushing them to the floor.

He has since been charged with several crimes including second-degree burglary.

Kennedy was processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail where deputies said he was held pending arraignment.
