Volunteers Sought For Flag Placement On Veteran Graves At Lakeview Cemetery

JAMESTOWN – A group dedicated to honoring Veterans in the Jamestown area is getting ready to start their effort to place flags on veteran graves at Lakeview Cemetery.

The United Veterans Council of Jamestown is hosting the annual tradition at Soldier’s Circle Thursday starting at 4 p.m.

Anyone from the community is welcome to help out. Staff will then direct volunteers to where flags can be placed during Thursday’s event.


American Flags are also available for pickup, to be placed at Holy Cross and Holy Sepulcher Cemeteries.
