JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Our local animal shelter is again overloaded with kittens, and thus, holding another “pawp-up” adoption this weekend.

Last month at this time, the cat colony at the Chautauqua County Humane Society reached capacity.

To help make adoption more available, and find cats their ‘fur-ever home,” the non-profit is once again lowering adoption fees to $50 for one kitten, and $75 for two.

As we told you last week, a group of black cats are up for adoption for free, thanks in part to a special donation.

On Saturday, from noon until 3 p.m. volunteers will be at the Chautauqua Mall in Lakewood showcasing the furry friends which are up for adoption.

All animals adopted are spayed or neutered, are up to date on medical, microchipped, and have had a dose of flea treatment.
