Local Ski Resorts Opening Soon

CLYMER, NY (WNY News Now) – A local area ski resort has announced their plans to open for this year’s winter season.

Peek’n Peak Ski Resort in Clymer announced this week that patrons can start hitting the slopes starting Friday December 9.


Only a few select trails will be open however, along with two lifts for the weekend.

The slopes will then be closed for the week of December 12 through the 15th. With the resort opening in full force Friday the 16th.

Other resorts like  Holiday Valley in Ellicottville plan to open Friday December 2. And Cockaigne Ski Center in Cherry Creek, while having their restaurant up for business, the slopes are planned to open soon for the 2022-2023 season.
