ALBANY, NY (WNY News Now) — Senator George Borrello was sworn in as the representative for New York’s 57th State Senate District last week, and says he is looking forward to addressing the many important issues facing our state right now.

Borello says his priorities are centered around making New York State safer, more affordable and more supportive of its job creators.

“I also am excited about representing the residents of Genesee and Wyoming counties, who are now part of the newly expanded 57th District,” said Borello in a statement. “I am grateful to Leader Ortt for entrusting me with these responsibilities and opportunities to shape the legislative agenda in Albany.”

The ceremony took place in the Senate Chamber just prior to the official start of the 2023 Legislative Session.
