JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A new double drive thru Tim Hortons location in Jamestown officially launched with a grand opening ribbon cutting on Friday.
On Washington Street, this is the sixth location in the greater Jamestown area, which features two drive thru lanes, a new concept for Tim Hortons which is rolling out at select locations in the United States.
The new location technically started serving customers with a soft opening just after Christmas, and so far, feedback has been positive.
However, there was one menu change requested by patrons, according to owner Blake Tarana.
“We started originally with no lunch, we’ve added lunch as of last week, we have turkey clubs, ham and swiss, and BLTs, so we’ve added cold sandwiches now,” explained Tarana. “We’ve had a lot of people say, I’ve wanted to come down for lunch, not just in the morning.”
In celebration of the grand opening, the first 100 customers were awarded a free $10 Timcard with the next 200 getting a free stainless-steel tumbler.
