Trio Charged After Police Recover Meth, Fentanyl In Traffic Stop

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Police recovered fentanyl and methamphetamine during a traffic stop over the weekend in Jamestown.

On Saturday morning, officers of the Jamestown Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Van Buren Street near Prendergast Avenue.











Through investigation a quantity of illicit drugs, methamphetamine and fentanyl, were located inside the vehicle.

Joshua Waygood, Damion Carlson and Rebecca Blue were arrested and face several drug charges.

Officers said all three were transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident.
