Two Men Sentenced In Separate Criminal Weapons Cases

MAYVILLE, NY (WNY News Now) – Two men were sentenced in Chautauqua County Court Wednesday on criminal weapons charges.

The Chautauqua County District Attorney Office announced 41-year-old Charles Buchanan and 25-year-old Arkeil Gaskin were sentenced to separate state prison terms by Judge David Foley.











Buchanan will spend six years behind bars before three years of post-release supervision for violating the terms of his probation, while Gaskin will spend five years in state prison plus five years’ post-release supervision.

Both were previously convicted on separate charges of attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a class D violet felony.

The DA’s Office thanks the Chautauqua County Department of Probation, Jamestown Police Department and the FBI for their work on this case.
