Man Allegedly Busted With Illegal Drugs Ready For Sale In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A 49-year-old man was allegedly busted with illegal drugs ready for sale during a traffic stop in Jamestown.

On Sunday evening, officers with Jamestown Police stopped Drew Thompson’s vehicle during a targeted patrol detail in the area of North Main and East Third Streets.


Police stopped Thompson’s vehicle for an alleged traffic violations: failure to come to a complete stop.

Following an investigation, Thompson was found allegedly in possession of methamphetamine, scales, drug packaging and a ledger.

He faces several traffic and drug charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
