JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A 40-year-old man is accused of driving while intoxicated after police in Jamestown discovered him passed out and slumped over the wheel at a local convenience store.

Around 3 a.m. Sunday Jamestown Police officers responded to the 7-Eleven on Hazeltine Avenue for a welfare check.

After making contact with Brendan Andrews, it was discovered he was driving while allegedly intoxicated.

At the time, Andrews was taken into custody and charged with DWI and DWI per se.

After processing, Andrews was released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
