JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police allegedly busted a man with a loaded handgun and drugs during an overnight traffic stop.

Just after 1 a.m. Monday officers stopped Dustin Turner’s vehicle in the area of East 6th and Fulton Streets for making an improper turn.

During an investigation the 32-year-old Lakewood resident was found allegedly in possession of a loaded pistol with a high-capacity magazine along with a quantity of pills that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Turner was placed in to custody and transported to the city jail where he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon , criminal possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations.
