Intoxicated Irving Man Charged for Driving Gaggle Of Minors

IRVING, NY (WNY News Now) – An Irving Man was charged following an altercation involving booze and minors early Sunday morning.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported altercation in Irving NY at around 1 a.m.. Upon arrival officers found 35-year-old Jamar Fountain who had allegedly driven a vehicle while intoxicated just prior to the incident.

Officers also noticed that several minors under the age of 16 were also in the vehicle while Fountain was driving.


Fountain was arrested on a slew of charges, including Aggravated Felony DWI, Leandra’s Law, and DWI.

He was released with tickets to appear in the Town of Hanover at a later date.
