
JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Four have been arrested in connection to two separate raids done by JPD and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Friday morning.
Officers raided a house at 36 Van Buren St at around 6:15 Friday morning, locating over 50 baggies of fentanyl, packing materials, scales, and over $3,400 in cash.
45-year-old Jose Ortiz, 32-year-old Jordan Austin, and 51-year-old Annabelle Santiago were also found inside the residence.
The three were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.
At the same time, a second search warrant execution took place at a residence on 111 Crossman Street. Inside, the department located 39-year-old Tammi Vaughn along with two other adults and several children.
After conducting a thorough search of the residence, detectives uncovered 11.2 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, 3 grams of fentanyl, scales and various packaging materials, as well as metal knuckles, a switch blade, and over $2,600 in cash.
Vaughn was placed under arrest and has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Ortiz, Santiago, and Vaughn were transported to city jail and held for arraignment. Austin was transported to city jail but later released on an appearance ticket in accordance with New York State Bail Reform.
