MAYVILLE, NY (WNY News Now) – A Chautauqua County sex offender is accused of repeatedly violating the sex offender registry.
On Wednesday the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office arrested William Strong.
The 65-year-old Cassadaga resident and level 3 sex offender allegedly failed to verify his address with the Sheriff’s Office, which he is required to do every 90 days.
Deputies say due to a previous violation, Strong was charged with a class D felony for violating the sex offender registry.
Strong was placed into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
