RANDOLPH, NY (WNY News Now) – An investigation is underway to determine what sparked a fire that leveled a house in the Town of Randolph.

On Monday afternoon the Randolph Fire Department, along with several nearby stations for mutual aid, responded to 12761 Rt. 394 for a fully engulfed house fire.

The intense flames destroyed the structure, which was undergoing renovations at the time, in just a matter of minutes.

While crews were extinguishing the fire, several small explosions also rang out likely due to propane tanks around the home.

No injuries were reported. As of Tuesday morning, an investigation seeking the fire’s cause and origin remains ongoing.
