JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – The National Comedy Center has teamed up with Shults Auto Group this summer to waive admission fees for kids 17 and under in an attempt to promote laughs and fun times through the summer months.
Staff at the Comedy Center are seemingly overjoyed by this partnership and are looking forward to all the smiling faces to come.
“This year we are celebrating that new family friendly distinction by offering free admission to kids and teens 17 and under, up to two free kids with a paying adult,” said executive director of the Comedy Center Journey Gunderson.
Executive Director of the Comedy Center Journey Gunderson expresses her gratitude to Shults Auto Group for making this possible.
“It’s all made possible by the support of one of our sponsors who really helped get the Comedy Center get built in the first place and led by Jillian Shults,” Gunderson said.
The partnership seemed to just make sense.
“We are just super, super excited to team with Journey and the National Comedy Center. My dad is a huge supporter in the local community of giving back, especially to the youth,” said managing partner of Shults Auto Group Jillian Shults.
In the end, it’s all about hearing the kids laugh.
“The idea is that kids are out of school in the summer so it’s Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend that kids are free, again, thanks to Shults Auto Group,” said Gunderson.
The ‘Kid’s Free Summer’ event kicked off on May 26th and will run through September 4th of this year, giving families more than enough time to visit the center, maybe even twice. All kids 17 and under will have free admission to the museum with their paying adult.
