Kenmore Teacher Indicted on Child Pornography Charges, Faces Up to 20 Years in Prison

Buffalo, NY (WNY News Now)- A 40-year-old Kenmore resident and current teacher at Maryvale Intermediate School, has been charged with possession of child pornography involving prepubescent minors, according to an indictment returned by a federal grand jury. 

The charges stem from Anthony Giambrone’s possession of explicit images on two separate laptop computers in April 2020, raising serious concerns in the Buffalo, NY area.

The accused appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael J. Roemer and was released on conditions while awaiting further legal proceedings.


The investigation leading to the indictment was carried out by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Town of Tonawanda Police Department.
