
JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Wednesday’s Tarp Skunks baseball game against the Geneva Red Wings will now be a single admission double header.
Gates open at 3:30 p.m. with the first pitch thrown an hour later. The second game will start at 7 p.m.
The second game will highlight the Strike Out Cancer campaign, where players will wear special pink jerseys. 34 of the worn jerseys will be raffled off for $30 a ticket.
Both games will be a part of the Skunk’s $2 dollar night, so all bleacher tickets, hotdogs, soft drinks, and beer will be sold at the low price.
All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
Currently the Jamestown Tarp Skunks are in a playoff push at a 21-17 win loss rate. With their opponents, the Geneva Red Wings, standing at 11-29.
