
CELORON, NY (WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was arrested after a routine traffic stop turned into a drug investigation over the weekend.
On July 30, 2023, at approximately 8:40 pm, Ellicott Police responded to a call in the area of Dunham Ave and Duquesne in the village of Celoron to investigate a suspicious situation.
Upon locating the vehicle, officers found 33-year-old Kevin N Young of Jamestown and other individuals passed out inside. During the investigation, Young was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Young was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. He was subsequently issued an appearance ticket for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and is scheduled to appear in Ellicott Court at a later date.
