Jamestown Woman Arrested for Traffic Violations and Suspended License

Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – Lisa M. Tibbetts (46) of Jamestown was arrested on August 2nd, 2023, at approximately 7:45 pm, after Jamestown police officers conducted a traffic stop on a U-Haul vehicle she was operating.

On August 2nd, 2023 Jamestown police officers conducted a routine traffic stop on a U-Haul vehicle Lisa M. Tibbetts (46) was operating. The officers discovered that Tibbetts had a suspended driver’s license due to her failure to answer summonses from Jamestown City Court.

Further investigation revealed that Tibbetts was also in violation of the rental agreement for the U-Haul, as she was not an authorized operator of the vehicle. As a result of these findings, Tibbetts was taken into custody by the officers.


She now faces multiple charges, including unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 3rd Degree and aggravated unlicensed operation in the 3rd Degree.

Lisa Ms. Tibbetts remains held in custody pending her arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
