(WNY News Now) -The Bureau of Criminal Investigation under SP Amity apprehended two people in Angelica, NY on charges of child abuse, following an inquiry into a disturbing incident involving two toddlers.
Angelica, NY – On August 10, 2023, Ravyn M. Cramer, 26, was apprehended by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation under SP Amity in connection with a disheartening case of child abuse. Ravyn faces allegations of two counts of Assault 2nd degree causing injuries to children under 7 years old, categorized as D Felonies, as well as Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Tyler J. Cramer, 28, also of Angelica, NY, was also taken into custody on charges of Assault 3rd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Initiated on August 9, 2023, the investigation commenced after law enforcement received information regarding a potential child abuse incident in the village of Angelica. Subsequent inquiry revealed that Ravyn had subjected two young children to a horrifying form of punishment, forcibly pushing their faces into feces. This cruel action resulted in injuries to the children, both of whom are under 7 years of age. The victims were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, and Child Protective Services were notified to provide assistance in the ongoing investigation.
Following a thorough investigation, both Ravyn and Tyler Cramer were apprehended and subsequently processed at the SP Amity station. They were subsequently arraigned at the Friendship Court, with a scheduled appearance at the Angelica Court set for September 2023. Pending court proceedings, both individuals were released from custody.
