(WNY News Now) – On August 31, 2023, Troopers apprehended a Plattsburgh man for criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th and obstruction of governmental administration 2nd.
Plattsburgh – On August 31, 2023, at approximately 12:42 p.m., Troopers responded to a welfare check on Tara Lane in Plattsburgh. They found Nikolaus E. Mudd, 32, of Plattsburgh, NY, unresponsive in a parking lot. A subsequent investigation uncovered drug paraphernalia. When instructed not to touch the substance, Mudd defied the Trooper, ingesting it.
EMS transported Mudd to CVPH, where he was later released, arrested, and taken to State Police Plattsburgh for processing. He has been released on an appearance ticket, scheduled to appear in the Town of Plattsburgh Court in September.
