(WNY News Now) – A domestic dispute on the South side of the City on September 2, 2023 has resulted in the arrest of a 40-year-old Jamestown resident, who now faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child (3 counts) and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

Jamestown – At approximately 11:28 pm, officers from the Jamestown Police 2nd Platoon responded to reports of a domestic dispute. Their investigation revealed that Ashley Matthews, 40, of Jamestown had used her forearm to press against the throat of a male victim in the presence of several children.

Consequently, Matthews was taken into custody and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. The charges against her include three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.
