(WNY News Now) –  A Dunkirk man was arrested on September 6th, 2023, after being pulled over by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies in Fredonia for a traffic violation.

Fredonia – During a traffic stop at around 11:30 pm, officers conducted an investigation that led to the determination that Ruben Rosas Jr., 35, of Dunkirk, was operating the vehicle while impaired due to drug use. As a result, he was promptly arrested and now faces charges of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (DWAI Drugs).

Rosas Jr. is set to make his appearance in the Village of Fredonia court on a later date to address the charges.
