
(WNY News Now) – A 45-year-old male was apprehended on September 7, 2023, at 8:03 pm on Winsor St near Crescent St, facing two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, alongside an active Jamestown City Court Bench Warrant.
Jamestown – On September 7, 2023, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit arrested RaShaun M. Smith, 45, of Jamestown, on Winsor St, near Crescent St. The arrest followed the discovery of active bench warrants against Smith in Jamestown City Court.
During the arrest, officers conducted a search of Smith’s person, which led to the discovery of a substantial quantity of methamphetamine and fentanyl in his possession. Consequently, Smith now faces two charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree in addition to the outstanding bench warrants.
Smith was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held, pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
