(WNY News Now) – Lakewood-Busti Police arrested a 27-year-old resident of Jamestown, on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Aggravated DWI Per Se after a late-night incident on Route 394.
Lakewood – On September 8, 2023, at approximately 12:50 a.m., officers from the Lakewood-Busti Police Department were conducting routine patrol duties on Route 394 in Lakewood, NY, when they spotted a vehicle traveling at an excessive speed for the designated zone. Upon closer inspection, the driver was identified as 27-year-old Kimberly D. Carare from Jamestown, NY.
Subsequent investigations led the Lakewood-Busti Police to determine that Carare was operating her vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. She was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and Aggravated DWI Per Se, with a recorded blood alcohol content (BAC) level of .18% or higher, in addition to a speeding violation.
Kimberly D. Carare is scheduled to appear in the Town of Busti Court.
