(WNY News Now) – On September 7, 2023 a Gowanda man was apprehended in West Valley for an outstanding bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
West Valley – James Simmons, a 49-year-old resident of Commercial St. in Gowanda, NY, was placed in custody on September 7, 2023. At approximately 3:00 pm, law enforcement authorities arrested Mr. Simmons at 5479 Twitchell Rd, West Valley, on an outstanding bench warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Court.
Following his apprehension, James Simmons was promptly transported to the City of Ashford Jail, where he is currently being detained. As of now, no bail has been set, and Simmons remains remanded to the custody of Cattaraugus County Jail.
