Chautauqua County Partnership Invites Applications for Economic Revitalization Projects

(WNY News Now) – The Chautauqua County Partnership for Economic Growth (CCPEG) is calling on municipalities, nonprofits, academic institutions, and more to apply for funding to bolster economic revitalization efforts across the county as part of its 2024 Work Plan development.

DUNKIRK – The Chautauqua County Partnership for Economic Growth (CCPEG) is gearing up to launch its 2024 Work Plan by inviting a diverse range of organizations, including municipalities, nonprofits, academic institutions, and economic development bodies, to apply for project support aimed at enhancing economic revitalization and strategic investments within Chautauqua County.

Mark Geise, Deputy County Executive for Economic Development, highlighted the successful collaborations and shared prosperity generated over the past two years through CCPEG’s support for high-priority projects. Geise expressed enthusiasm for building on this momentum throughout the county.


CCPEG will provide resources to select projects with the potential for transformative county-wide impacts. Support may encompass technical assistance, matching requirements for local, state, or federal grants aligned with the Chautauqua County Economic Development Strategic Plan, or projects enhancing prior investments in the county’s economic development.

Grant awards typically range from $10,000 to $20,000, with consideration for requests up to $50,000.

An online informational meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 18, 2023, from 1-2 pm. It will provide an overview of the program and an opportunity for questions. Further program details and the online application can be accessed at www.chqpartnership.org/edprojectsupport.



The application deadline is Friday, October 27, 2023, at 4 pm.
