(WNY News Now) – An Ellicottville resident has been handed a one-year conditional discharge following his conviction for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.

Ellicottville – Cody Wyatt, 33, a resident of Ellicottville has received a one-year conditional discharge as part of his sentencing for the conviction of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.

The incident took place on or around October 13, 2022, in the Town of Ellicottville. Wyatt was found guilty of knowingly holding stolen property with the intention to benefit himself or another individual not affiliated with the owner, or to obstruct the owner’s recovery efforts.
