(WNY News Now) – A 41-year-old male resident of Sherman, was arrested on charges of unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree and harassment 2nd degree after allegedly preventing another individual from leaving a residence on Route 76 in the Town of Sherman.

Sherman – Deputies responded to an altercation on Route 76 in Sherman, where Aallan Detweiler, 41, was alleged to have unlawfully imprisoned an individual and engaged in harassment. Following a thorough investigation, Detweiler was taken into custody.

He was subsequently transported to the Chautauqua County jail for centralized arraignment. The incident involved a total of six subjects, and Detweiler faces charges related to his actions during the altercation.
