Jamestown Man Charged After Drug Raid


JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A search conducted by the Jamestown Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and City of Dunkirk Police resulted in the finding of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

On September 18th, at approximately 2:12 p.m., Narcotics Investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, City of Jamestown Police Department, and City of Dunkirk Police Department executed a search warrant at 854 Prendergast Ave. Apt. 1 in the City of Jamestown.

As a result of the search Investigators seized a quantity of cocaine and drug paraphernalia diluents used in the preparation or mixing of narcotics. 37-year-old Joshua Dorsey was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. 


Dorsey was released with appearance tickets to appear in the Jamestown City Court.
