(WNY News Now) – A comprehensive investigation into narcotics sales in Dunkirk culminated in the execution of two search warrants on September 20th, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs and cash.
Dunkirk – Law enforcement agencies, including the City of Dunkirk Police Department and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, successfully executed search warrants at two locations: 102 E. 2nd St. and 142 Lincoln Ave. Apt. 1, Dunkirk, NY, around 10:25 am on September 20, 2023.
The operation yielded 14.16 grams of cocaine, 9.04 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia such as scales and packaging materials, along with $2,677.00 in US currency.
Devan A. Fernandez, 20, of Dunkirk was arrested on allegations involving multiple charges, including three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
Fernandez is currently in custody at the Dunkirk Police Department, awaiting arraignment in the City of Dunkirk Court.
