(WNY News Now) – On Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, at approximately 3:59 p.m., Police responded to a stabbing incident involving two teenage females in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue.
Syracuse, NY – Syracuse Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue on Saturday afternoon in response to a reported stabbing. Upon their arrival, officers discovered two teenage females who had sustained stab wounds during a physical altercation with a teenage male suspect.
The altercation escalated to violence, resulting in both teenage girls being stabbed. One victim sustained a minor laceration to her neck and shoulder area, while the other suffered a minor stab wound to her back. Both victims were promptly transported to local hospitals for medical attention. Fortunately, the injuries they sustained are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident, and the teenage male suspect is currently in custody. Further details surrounding the altercation and the motives behind it are yet to be disclosed as the investigation progresses.
