
(WNY News Now) – A 28-year-old resident of Buffalo, NY, faces charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child following an investigation into a domestic disturbance on Route 417 in the Town of Allegany.
Town of Allegany – Jamal E. Johnson, a 28-year-old resident of Buffalo, New York, was taken into custody after a domestic disturbance incident unfolded on Route 417 in the Town of Allegany. Deputies responded to reports of a male pursuing a female who was audibly calling for assistance. Subsequent investigation alleged that Johnson had forcibly entered a residence and assaulted the victim, all while children were present inside the home.
Johnson has been arraigned on multiple charges, including Burglary 2nd Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He has been remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail pending further legal proceedings.
Johnson is scheduled to appear in the Town of Allegany Court at a later date.
