
(WNY News Now) – A 31-year-old Jamestown resident, was arrested on 09/26/23 at 11:35 am on charges of trespassing and criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree. He was allegedly discovered in a North side garage and found to have outstanding warrants along with a stolen driver’s license.
Jamestown – Tyler P. Brown, a 31-year-old Jamestown resident, was arrested on September 26th, 2023, at approximately 11:35 AM when officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to a trespassing complaint on the North side.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers allegedly discovered Brown and another male inside a detached garage. It was revealed that Brown had two bench warrants issued by the Jamestown Police Department and an additional arrest warrant from the Lakewood-Busti Police Department.
Further investigation at the Jamestown City Jail unveiled that Brown was in possession of a New York State driver’s license, reported stolen from a vehicle in August 2022. Consequently, Brown faced an additional charge of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree, in addition to the existing bench warrants. He was subsequently handed over to the Lakewood-Busti Police Department after his release from Jamestown City Court.
The case remains pending as Brown awaits arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
