
(WNY News Now) – A distressing incident unfolded on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023, as Syracuse emergency services responded to a report of three individuals found unconscious in a running vehicle at 117 Edtim Road.
At around 9:04 a.m., both the Syracuse Police Department and Syracuse Fire Department received a distress call regarding a vehicle with three unresponsive occupants. Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult male, an adult female, and a female toddler in a critical condition. Swift life-saving efforts were initiated, later taken over by American Medical Response paramedics.
Tragically, despite extensive resuscitation attempts, the female toddler succumbed to the situation and was pronounced dead at University Hospital. The adult male and female remain unconscious and in serious condition.
The cause of this unfortunate incident is currently under investigation, with the identities of the affected individuals being withheld until next of kin notification can be completed.
