(WNY News Now) – A report of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Jamestown, NY, resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old male, on charges of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree.

Jamestown – On October 9, 2023, at approximately 12:35 PM, Jamestown Police Department officers responded to a report of an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at 110 Allen St, Jamestown, NY 14701. The stolen vehicle was successfully recovered at Jamestown Fire Department Station 4 around 12:56 PM, with Ray Luis Camano behind the wheel.

Notably, Camano had been released from Jamestown City Jail earlier that morning after committing a Class E felony at 6:18 AM. Camano was taken into custody without incident and is now held pending arraignment on the Class D felony charge of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree. The case is set to be heard in Jamestown City Court.
